Today, the MATCHAZUKI page, premium Japanese matcha powder, would like to introduce another easy dessert menu that you can make at home, and it is perfect for our hot weather, which is Matcha Tofu Pudding or cold green tea tofu with a chewy texture. You can eat it on its own or with sweet red beans. Let’s see the ingredients and how to make it. ^^
Key Ingredients (This recipe makes about 3 cups.)
1. 1 cup fresh milk
2. Soy milk (no sugar) 1 cup
3. 2 tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk
4. 1 tablespoon of medium grade MATCHAZUKI matcha powder
5. 2 sheets of gelatin sheets
6. 3 tablespoons of bean curd powder
Procedure
1. Soak the gelatin sheets in cold water and set aside.
2. Mix fresh milk, soy milk, condensed milk, tofu powder and sift matcha green tea powder through a sieve into a pot. Stir well and bring to a boil.
3. When boiling, turn off the heat, add the soaked gelatin, stir until dissolved, pour into a mold or round cup, and refrigerate for about 1 hour.
4. When the tofu is completely frozen, remove it from the mold, cut a small indentation on the surface of the dessert, place it on crushed ice, pour a little condensed milk over it, and eat it with red bean paste or fruit.
Matcha Tofu Pudding or green tea cold tofu is a dessert that everyone loves because it is sweet, delicious, and cool. It is equally delicious when served with mashed red beans or fresh fruits. It is also easy to make. If anyone likes this menu, try making it. For today, goodbye ^^
