Hello, welcome back to the dessert menu from the MATCHAZUKI page, premium grade matcha green tea powder from Japan. Today, our page has another popular dessert menu for Thai people that you can see everywhere. But today, we would like to recommend something a little more special, which is green tea Tokyo dessert. Tokyo dessert is easy to make, not many ingredients, suitable for enjoying on a day off. No matter what filling you make, it’s delicious, such as custard or savory fillings like stir-fried minced pork or sausage. It’s fragrant with green tea and a little crispy. It’s really fun to eat. Let’s see how to make it.
Key Ingredients
Dough
1. All-purpose flour 60 grams
2. 3 tablespoons of sugar
3. 1/2 tablespoon MATCHAZUKI medium grade matcha powder
4. 1 chicken egg
5. Clean water 50 grams
6. 1 teaspoon baking powder
7. 1 teaspoon baking soda
Pastry filling
Sausage, cooked minced pork, or custard (see the recipe for green tea custard pie) as desired.
Procedure
1. Mix all the ingredients of the dough together well and let it rest for 1 hour.
2. When the dough has rested for the required time, scoop about 1 tablespoon of dough into a Teflon pan over medium heat and spread the dough into a circle as thin as possible. Wait for the dough to cook and dry up, add the filling as desired, such as sausage or cooked minced pork, sprinkle with seasoning sauce and a little pepper as desired, then roll the dough together and scoop it up from the pan.
