Adapting tea shops to accommodate the aging trend

In the era of Aging Society, the number of elderly people is increasing. This group of people will have high purchasing power because they have a better financial status than other age groups and are ready to pay for quality products, good service, delicious food and drinks. Therefore, these elderly customers are impressed and feel connected to the store easily. Because if you can attract this group of customers, they will not only be the elderly, but also their children who bring their families to eat on various occasions or buy food to take home for the elderly. Therefore, food business operators should not overlook this group of elderly customers because it may be a golden opportunity for your business in the future.

Aging Society

Penetrating the elderly customer group, even though it must focus on the feeling of value, most elderly people make careful decisions before buying and tend to buy things that they feel are worth it more. If buying a drink, if the shop has a good atmosphere, good service, easy parking, easy entry and exit, not too noisy, and has a relaxation corner for the elderly, it will be a small convenience that will make this group of customers feel more worth it. Or maybe promoting a drink menu with tea’s properties for the elderly to make customers feel that it is worth it and good for their health, it would be quite interesting.

Matcha Matcha

Because Japanese researchers from the Graduate School of Biomedical Engineering, Tohoku University, have reported that drinking green tea frequently can help delay symptoms of depression in elderly people, both men and women. From data from elderly people (aged 70 and over) who drank green tea at least 4 times a day and compared it to elderly people who drank only once a day or less, it was found that the first group of elderly people had a 44% lower risk of depression than the second group.

The researcher revealed that there are many studies that show the benefits of green tea in terms of reducing anxiety and calming the mind, but there is still no information on reducing depression in the elderly. He and his team are interested in studying this issue. He also said that part of it is because the amino acid theanine, a component of green tea, has a direct effect on the brain, making the brain clear and the mind relaxed from stress. Therefore, it is an advantage that helps reduce depression in the elderly.

In addition, green tea can help prevent various degenerative conditions of the body. It helps slow down premature aging and prevent various diseases that often occur in the elderly. Because the antioxidants in green tea such as Catechins are antioxidants that are 100 times more powerful than vitamin C and 25 times more powerful than vitamin E, they can effectively eliminate free radicals. As a result, the body is free from toxins or free radicals. The skin will be bright and radiant, without premature wrinkles, and it helps reduce premature aging very well.

In addition, green tea also helps reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s disease in the elderly. Elderly people who want to receive the benefits of green tea should drink about 5-10 cups of green tea per day.

It can be seen that the benefits of green tea for the elderly are sufficient to create content as a selling point for this group of people. Another thing that needs to be given importance to the small details of the shop is to make the tea shop more than just a place to sit and drink tea. That is, when they retire from work, many elderly people may feel bored, lonely, or even feel low self-worth, which makes them at risk of depression. If you try to organize interesting activities to make your restaurant a place for groups and activities for the elderly to create a feeling of warmth, bonding with the shop, and may lead to a regular customer base. For example, while drinking tea, you may have a board game to play or have books or pamphlets about health care. This is another thing that will make customers interested in your shop and also shows your sincerity and care for the elderly customer group.

Aging Society

Elderly people are a group of people who need special attention and care. Providing services like taking care of your own elderly relatives may make your shop successful and win the hearts of this group of customers in a short time as well. For example, choosing a set of teacups, classic teapots that are suitable for the elderly group, not choosing ones with cartoon or fashionable patterns, or a corner of tables and chairs for the elderly that are arranged perfectly will make customers feel the small details here.

Matcha Matcha

It can be seen that tea is a drink that can be drunk by all ages, but beverage shops nowadays focus on shops for teenagers and working people only, forgetting to look at the group of people of another generation who can drink tea and have enough purchasing power. Therefore, it is a new idea for many entrepreneurs who may have reached a dead end in business to turn to try opening a tea shop for the elderly. It also helps increase sales and new customer bases.

Starbucks Matcha

Starbucks Matcha

Brand Awareness Brand Awareness

Brand Awareness Brand Awareness

Matcha

“Green tea” is a gift for every festival for Japanese people.

Japanese people often bring small gifts to give to each other no matter the occasion. For example, when traveling to another country or even on a small trip, they usually buy souvenirs, or in Japanese, what is called “omiyage”. Souvenirs can be cute packages of cookies, chocolate, green tea, or various Japanese sweets.

Not only buying souvenirs from traveling, but giving gifts to each other is a deeply rooted culture of Japanese people, such as New Year’s Day, marriage, childbirth, etc., in which “tea” is considered a very popular gift. Giving green tea to each other will have different meanings depending on the occasion, whether it is to express congratulations, greetings or express gratitude because “tea” is something that Japanese people drink every day anyway. In addition to being good for health, it gives a sense of quality and value. Giving it as a gift set or wrapped in furoshiki cloth increases the value to become a tea set that the recipient will definitely like. Another reason why tea is popular as a gift is because it can be stored for a long time and is not too small or too big, suitable for people of all ages. Tea also has a good and auspicious meaning that many people may not know, such as:

  • The word 茶寿 (cha-myō) is spelled with the character 茶, which means tea, in the word. In Japanese, cha-myō means “congratulations on your 108th birthday,” so giving tea as a gift is considered a wish for good health and long life.
  • At some Japanese weddings, such as in the Kyushu region, including Niigata and Fukushima prefectures, a “tea set” is given as a gift for engagement. Because the tea plant has a long life and is deeply rooted in the soil, it is difficult to pull it out and plant it again, symbolizing “the bride’s marriage only once and her commitment to her partner for life.”
  • On New Year’s Day in Japan, there is a custom of drinking Daifukucha (大福茶), a tea that is drunk to pray for safety from disasters and illnesses in the year. In particular, in Kyoto, it stems from the past when priests gave tea to infected patients to drink, and their symptoms eventually recovered. Eating an Osechi (おせち料理) set meal on New Year’s Day, along with drinking Daifukucha with dried plums and kombu kelp, is a long-held tradition.
  • The word medetai (めでたい), which means “joy” in Japanese, sounds similar to the word medetai (芽出たい), which means “to sprout (tea shoots)”. Therefore, giving tea as a gift is considered an auspicious gift that the Japanese believe means expressing their congratulations to the recipient.

However, some texts say that tea is a drink that Japan adopted from China along with Buddhism, and so it has an image associated with Buddhist ceremonies, most often funeral ceremonies, so tea should be avoided as a gift. However, nowadays, this belief has disappeared, and there is a growing popularity of giving shincha (新茶), the first tea of the season made from the first young leaves picked, as a seasonal gift.
In addition to the auspicious occasions when we give tea as a gift, there are other tea drinking cultures that Japanese people drink, such as:

  • Sakurayu (桜湯) is made by brewing hot water with cherry blossom petals seasoned with salt instead of green tea. It is popularly drunk on auspicious occasions, paired with Higashi, a small, dry sweet with beautiful patterns and colors, similar to our local Ping cookies.
  • In summer, it is popular to drink mugicha (麦茶), a cold barley tea that is refreshing.
  • When serving as a guest, it is common to serve gyokuro (玉露) or sencha (煎茶) together with wagashi.
  • But in daily life, it is popular to drink Hojicha (ほうじ茶), Bancha (番茶), and Genmaicha (玄米茶) together with sembei snacks.

Choose the right type of tea for the right occasion. Giving a gift of tea will make the recipient even more impressed.

Matcha Cookie

Tea shop model, a new alternative for beverage business

Recently, many new businesses have emerged, especially in the food industry. This has created a great challenge for business owners in order to adapt to consumers. In addition, there are many problems, whether it’s the number of customers or the purchasing power that has decreased. Many famous restaurant brands have started to find new models for their businesses because doing things the same old way, the business cannot increase sales anymore. Experimenting with new models to increase income channels is a model that is worth trying for both new and existing entrepreneurs. Let’s start with the familiar ones:

Tea shop model

Food Trucks that modify their vehicles to become mobile food or beverage shops. The highlight of this model is that it uses a small area, is flexible in terms of location because it is easy to move, and provides services in the form of a normal kiosk, but can be driven to reach customers anywhere they want, whether it be at an event or an area where they want to try selling without paying rent. This is to focus on reaching more customers, especially the new generation. The method is not complicated and takes a short time to focus on the number of customers and the high sales volume. The Food Truck will be an open kitchen that stands out for its aroma. Especially if selling beverages such as tea or coffee, the aroma can attract customers. It is also another way to stimulate customers’ interest to come and buy. Many shops in Japan have started with this model, creating a brand and expanding the business to be more well-known.

Food Truck Food Truck

Meal Kits started from the trend of cooking at home during the COVID-19 pandemic when many people turned to the kitchen more, making the sale of Meal Kits or ready-to-cook food ingredient sets more popular. In the set, there will be ingredients with menus and cooking instructions sent to customers to cook at home. In addition to helping beginners get into the kitchen easily, it also provides convenience for those who do not want to leave the house to buy ingredients and saves time. As for tea drink sets, they are not yet popular. Therefore, it is an interesting gap in the beverage business for shops with unique menus that can use ingredients to make sets. Because selling this way can reduce costs in various aspects, such as storefront staff, maintenance costs for the cafe. Just arranging a set of ingredients, menus, and recipes for delivery can expand the customer base to a wider group. For example, the set includes chasen, tea powder, tea cups, and tea brewing methods, allowing customers to create a Japanese atmosphere at home.

Meal Kits Meal Kits

Or a set of baking equipment from matcha powder is also quite interesting because these days, anyone can go into the kitchen. If you have baking equipment that if you buy it yourself, it will be complicated, you don’t know what level of matcha powder to use, and there are a lot of equipment. Everything will be easier if you put together a set for customers, including flour, sugar, butter, matcha powder, baking molds, and other equipment, along with a recipe. When they start baking themselves, of course, they will take pictures and share them on social media, spreading awareness of the brand in a wider angle.

Cloud Kitchen Cloud Kitchen

Ghost Kitchen or Cloud Kitchen is another type of restaurant that does not necessarily have a storefront. There is only a kitchen for cooking and delivering food. It is a business collaboration between two brands to use the existing central kitchen to its maximum benefit. In addition to reducing costs, it also allows customers to order a variety of food from one place and also increases the experience for the chef. Most importantly, it saves on the cost of renting a storefront. Especially for those who already have a tea shop and want to expand the branch but do not have capital, they can easily use the Cloud Kitchen instead.

Cloud Kitchen Cloud Kitchen

The model of tea shops these days does not have to only have a storefront for you to choose and enjoy. Instead, you can brew your own tea at home with a taste similar to sitting in a cafe. Just try looking at a wide angle and you will see many other tea business models that are worth trying.

Things people often miss! When opening a tea shop

Cafes or beverage shops are one of the dream businesses of many people because they think that it is an easy business to open, with high profits. Just a good location, delicious drinks, and a beautiful and stylish shop decoration should be successful. But did you know that opening a beverage shop today is in a market with increasing competition? Therefore, opening a shop should be carefully calculated before starting that business. So before opening a shop or making any decisions, consider these factors first to see what you are missing.

1. Not knowing what you are selling is not enough. This is the most important thing, whether it is tea leaves, tea powder, each type, where it comes from, what kind of tea plantation grows the tea, what processes are used, if we have this information, we will be able to answer customers’ questions with confidence about what our brand’s strengths are. Don’t forget to study and experiment about the types of tea, taste, smell and properties, how they differ, what temperature of water to use for brewing, and the media used to present to customers the differences in the teas at the shop.

The tea menu is a menu that any shop can make, but making it different and having a consistent taste is something that requires training and specific techniques.

Matcha Cafe Matcha Cafe

2. Unclear branding : This is because we see other brands doing well and then try to do the same without thoroughly studying the surrounding factors. For example, there are many bubble tea shops that have opened recently. They have similar names, similar menus, but different prices and no clear brand identity. This type of shop will be swallowed up. Before opening a shop, you should be able to answer why customers buy tea from your shop and not from competitors. It could be about the service of the staff in the shop, such as serving cold hand towels when they arrive at the shop like in Japanese restaurants. Or small details that we should pay attention to in order to use as strengths of the shop, such as the way tea is presented at the counter. It could be drip tea, brewed with a traditional kettle or brewed with Japanese-style chasen, or using a shake or a milk frother, for people in a hurry.

Matcha Cafe Matcha Cafe

3. Investing too much in unnecessary things. Because shop owners these days focus on the beauty of the shop, having a cool corner for taking pictures and posting on social media. These things make the budget for decorating the shop quite high, to the point that sometimes the budget may go over. Actually, this idea is not wrong, but don’t forget that the more you invest, the longer the payback period will be. Moreover, if you have a limited budget but invest too much in unnecessary things, it will affect the amount of capital that will be used to generate income for the shop. Because don’t forget that in addition to decoration, there are other expenses such as tea making equipment, good ingredients or efficient staff salaries. Therefore, dividing the investment appropriately must start from the beginning. Or if anyone has no idea for decorating, try looking at the Japanese style that emphasizes simplicity, drinking tea in a beautiful, quiet garden, no need for flashy decoration. Add a Japanese atmosphere with Japanese picture magazines, and you will be fully satisfied with the atmosphere in the shop.

Matcha Cafe Matcha Cafe Matcha Cafe

4. Choosing the wrong location, not matching the target group, or choosing a location in an area with a lot of competitors or a future competitor. Competitors are an important factor that makes the sales target not reach the target. Don’t forget to analyze how many of our target groups are in that area. Do they have purchasing power? For example, if the area is a school area but selling tea at a high price may not be suitable. Analyze how much each competitor is charging, what are their weaknesses and strengths, and look back at yourself to see how you can beat them.

5. Forget to calculate the cost of raw materials, waste and other hidden costs that will occur every day. For example, those who use imported tea leaves from Japan or other countries must be very careful. Don’t forget to calculate the shipping cost, the tax on buying tea leaves here. Which shipping method costs how much? Some raw materials that are easily spoiled, if not used up, may unknowingly create waste, such as milk, ice, cream. What about welfare costs, food costs, OT costs, etc. In addition, there are water costs, electricity costs, depreciation costs of various equipment, glass costs, tissue costs, etc. When calculated, how many % of profit will be left per glass?

6. Lack of experience and knowledge. You have to be careful about everything from income and expense accounts and separating personal money from the store’s money to see profit and loss, balance sheets, employee management, including order taking systems, cutting raw material stocks that need to be learned so that the business can run smoothly and be successful.

How to manage matcha powder to increase sales!

During this economic downturn, many shops have seen their sales drop. With the COVID-19 pandemic, customers are spending less. Many shops may have trouble controlling their ingredients, which they had planned carefully. Some ingredients are quite expensive. If they are not managed well, the shop may lose money.

Easy ways to manage your store’s ingredients before they expire

  • Recheck the stock of all ingredients for expiration dates and storage methods, such as tea powder that cannot be exposed to light, should be stored in a tightly closed place in the refrigerator properly so that it does not spoil before the specified time. Similarly, various equipment and tools are equally important. If they are not used properly, they may spoil easily, requiring repair costs or the need to buy new ones. For example, drying tea leaves or tea brushes should be inserted into their respective stands and left to air dry before storing to prevent mold.
  • Modify dessert shops Many beverage shops may be thinking hard about how to sell when customers don’t come to the store. The important thing is to modify and turn to delivery. The serving style of each menu, which is usually fancy, may have to be modified. For example, water menus may be delivered in a bottle version instead, which is easy to deliver and customers will be impressed. Or for dessert menus, try to see how to serve them, such as dividing the sauce, dividing the main components of the dessert into boxes for serving.
  • Develop from the original ingredients in the shop as much as possible. Some ingredients that are fresh and easily spoiled, such as fresh milk or cream that have been ordered and stocked, must be modified to serve customers before they spoil. For example, some milk can be used as an ingredient in making bread, which will extend the shelf life of bread longer than regular fresh milk. Or, for those who stock a lot of tea powder for making various menus in the shop, some tea can be divided, mixed with flour, baking powder, and packaged as Matcha Pancake Powder, a special recipe of the shop, so that customers can order it to make pancakes. This is an indirect activity for customers to have fun with themselves during this time when they have to stay home for a long time.

Just 3 simple techniques will help the ingredients in the shop to be used most efficiently. But if anyone wants to buy more ingredients for the shop, you can order matcha green tea powder, hojicha tea powder, and other tea making equipment at https://matchazuki.com/shop/ We have a delivery service to your home.

Add some color to your tea shop with these cool workshop ideas.

Opening a cafe to sell food, desserts, and drinks alone may not be enough these days. With more competitors, you may feel that your shop is too quiet. Holding promotions alone is not enough. Organizing small workshops in the shop is another idea that creates a colorful and new atmosphere in the shop. In addition to helping create an experience for customers, it also attracts a new group of customers who may have never been to the shop before but enjoy workshops to join in the fun at the shop.

5 cool workshop activity ideas that can be easily organized in your shop:

1. Organizing a Japanese-style tea ceremony workshop alongside making wagashi sweets. Because it is a unique Japanese tea ceremony culture that is different from making bakery goods, many dessert lovers would like to try making wagashi sweets, which requires white beans and meticulous design, as well as a full-fledged Japanese tea ceremony that green tea lovers will feel like they want to experience making your favorite cup of green tea themselves. During the workshop, knowledge about green tea can be inserted, such as the benefits of tea and life philosophy gained from making tea, etc.

Workshop Workshop

2. Making tea tasting for tea lovers to enjoy. This idea is suitable for shops that have many types of tea drinks, such as green tea, Hojicha, Genmaicha, or even shops that have green tea with different concentrations. Design a tea shop logo that customers can easily remember.

Logo is an important part that is like the face of the shop. It affects the brand’s recognition, especially in this era where there are many new dessert and drink shops. The logo on the food packaging, the easier it is to remember and unique, the easier it will be for customers to tell others. What are the principles for designing a good logo that is easy to remember and unique to other shops? Let’s take a look.

Start with mustHave the shop’s identity because the shop’s logo should communicate the identity of the shop, the style of food sold, and immediately know what kind of restaurant it is. It should have characteristics related to the shop’s name. If it doesn’t overlap with other shops, it’s even better because it prevents confusion among customers. For example, a shop that sells authentic green tea from Japan might use Japanese to communicate the origin of the shop’s star ingredient or use a design that’s like a Japanese intang (rubber stamp) to bring out the unique Japanese design to communicate the origin of the authentic ingredients.

logo logo logo

A good logo should convey meaning. Because a good logo must be able to convey more meaning than just stating the name of the shop, such as using images of tea leaves, tea cups, or tea brewing equipment to indicate the shop’s expertise in the taste of tea. The images in the logo should have been thought about to have meaning, be easy to understand and remember, in order to communicate directly to customers. In addition to the images used to convey meaning, the color of the logo is also an important part that helps to easily think of the products in the brand. For example, using green in the logo makes it easier to think of green tea, conveying naturalness, not processed with synthetic substances.

For the logo to convey the mood of the shop , you must first know what kind of mood you want the image to have and how it will be consistent with your shop. For example, a tea shop whose target group is women does not focus on strong tea but focuses on adjusting the recipe to be diverse, making it easier for women to consume and having other snacks made from tea. You will need to use a logo with a pink tone to attract the attention of women who are gentle. Or adjust it to a simple, calm logo but focus on sweet-colored packaging to reach the target group of women.

logo logo

Do not use too many colors. The number of colors used in the logo should be 1-3 colors, which is appropriate and does not cause confusion. In addition, the mood of the colors used is also important, such as green, which conveys nature, health, freshness, and growth. In addition, it also creates a refreshing and relaxing mood.

logo logo logo

Don’t forget to check your competitors. Visiting other brands’ websites or social media helps us practice analytical thinking to see if the logo looks good, communicates meaning, and is unique enough to make improvements to the store. It’s an analysis of the brand’s strengths and weaknesses. And don’t forget to always follow design trends, such as using the color of the year, ultraviolet purple, or using gradients and typography to make your logo stand out.

But you will see that there are many types of logos, whether they are simple letters, images, graphics, or mascots. Each type conveys a different meaning and reaches a different group of customers. For example, for brands with cartoon images, this type of logo will help attract children and families. It is also a great way to stimulate interaction with the target group. Or for the use of just certain symbols, such as tea leaves, tea scoops, or chasei, it is enough to convey the meaning that this shop focuses on selling tea.

logo

If you have already created something but are still not sure whether you should use it, test it on your website or create a profile. Or maybe create a poll to ask people to provide feedback, such as asking if it looks good enough, if there are any changes you want to make, if it matches the website, in case you want to adjust some points to make it easier for customers to remember before actually producing the media.

Have you gotten any ideas yet? For those who are going to try to open their own business, here we start by designing a logo that we like and then extend it to put on the shop’s business card, product package in the same style to make it memorable to customers and make them want to tell others more easily.

Matcha Breakfast Dish Matcha Yogurt Menu

Many people may think that sipping warm tea in the morning is perfect, but in fact, morning is when the stomach is empty. If we drink green tea, it will stimulate stomach acid, which may cause stomach ulcers. In addition, the caffeine in green tea will stimulate the body to excrete water, which may make us feel dehydrated, slow-witted, and not refreshed. It is best to eat breakfast first and then follow with a cup of green tea. Or if you really want to drink green tea, try mixing it in soup, yogurt, or other menus that are suitable for breakfast. This will make a delicious breakfast in the style of matcha lovers. It will also add a breakfast menu to your cafe.

Let’s start with a light, easy, and healthy menu, Matcha Yogurt. Many people forget that green tea can be eaten with yogurt.

Matcha Yogurt

Simply mix 300g of plain yogurt with 1 tbsp of matcha powder and 2 tsp of maple syrup. Mix well and top with kiwi, peach, blueberry, apple or other fruits of your choice.

But if you don’t like yogurt, we recommend a Matcha Breakfast Bowl that is rich in nutrients. Mix 2 tablespoons of chia seeds with 1 cup of almond milk, macadamia milk, or cow’s milk, whichever you prefer, and 2 teaspoons of matcha powder. Blend together. You can add a little honey to increase the sweetness as you like. Or if you want to add texture, you can blend avocado together. After blending, you can store it in the refrigerator for 1 week. Decorate with fresh strawberries and sliced almonds as you like.

Another light breakfast menu in European style is Matcha Pancake with gluten-free flour recipe, suitable for those who are allergic to wheat flour. It takes only 12 minutes to make, suitable for those who are in a rush in the morning. Start by mixing 2 eggs with ⅔ cup almond milk + ¼ cup melted coconut oil with cane sugar and vanilla extract. Mix well. Sift 1 cup gluten-free flour + 2 tablespoons matcha powder + 1 tablespoon baking powder and a pinch of salt. Mix well. Then, heat a pan over medium heat, add coconut oil. When the pan is hot, add the prepared ingredients in the desired size. When it starts to cook, flip it over until it is golden brown and cooked evenly on both sides. Serve with honey and fresh fruit as desired. An easy and filling breakfast ^^

Matcha Pancake

Add sweetness to your breakfast easily with another menu for those who love sweets, Matcha Sugar Toast that uses only 3 ingredients and can be finished easily in 5 minutes by taking ¼ teaspoon of green tea powder and mixing it with 2 tablespoons of salted butter that is room temperature and 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar. Mix well and spread it on bread, then bake the bread in the oven until crispy and the color is beautiful according to your preference. Recommended temperature 175 degrees for 2-5 minutes.

Add another level of deliciousness with Matcha cashew Butter on Toast , a vegan menu that is easy to make, filling and delicious for breakfast. How to choose Pantone tea color to be perfect

Why do we need to give so much importance to the media and photography of our restaurant’s menu?

Because color is one of the most important parts of design. Because color will determine the feeling and create the mood of the viewer, whether it is a single tone (monochromatic), bright (bright), cool (cool), warm (warm), or adding a variety of shades to perform different functions in one design piece.

tea pantone tea pantone

Each type of tea gives different colors depending on the harvesting and production process. The charm of tea colors that are not gaudy and are naturally pleasing to the eye, such as matcha that gives a dark green color, hojicha that gives a reddish-brown color from roasting green tea, or oolong tea that tends to be golden yellow. If these colors are on the poster or package of the shop, highlighting the highlights and choosing the right color pairs, choosing a Pantone color set that helps to enhance the image to look full, will help make the image look pleasing to the eye and more easily attract attention. Importantly, having a color set in mind will help you brief the graphic design work that is designed, whether it is the tea menu or the packaging of the shop, to understand in the same direction more.

Many people may not know what Pantone means.

Pantone is the name of an American printing and design company. Many people know them as the creators of the Pantone Matching System (PMS) color matching standard used by printing companies around the world.

When we print posters, make labels, or find color pairs for media of green tea products, I believe many people have encountered the problem that no matter how we choose, the tea color is still not as desired. Having a set of Pantone colors to compare with your favorite colors will help you get a more accurate job. Because sometimes if we look at printed work on a screen, each screen has different brightness and the color can be easily distorted. This color selection technique can be used to adjust the composition of the image for taking pictures as well.

The first thing to consider when choosing colors is that too many colors can make your design look confusing and not as appealing as it should be. The method most people recommend is to use 2-3 colors in the design. Use the technique of lightening and darkening the colors from those 2-3 colors to make the piece more dimensional. Try using the color wheel to choose. I guarantee that your work will come out looking clean. For empty spaces, try adding a little texture so that it doesn’t come out too smooth. If you’re focusing on selling Hojicha tea menus that have brown tea colors, you should use orange tones together and adjust the intensity of the tea color down.

Techniques for choosing the main color and finding the color that goes with it. Think about what kind of work you are designing. Is it sports, fashion, beauty, or business? Because the mood of each work uses different colors. Do you want the mood of the work to come out soft or intense? Then try to add a little more detail. You will get interesting colors. For example, green tea. The main color is green. The color that goes with it is pink. That will make the picture look gentle, easy to access, and friendly to consumers. Or if it is an orange-brown tea color, you can use pink as a pair as well.

Or if anyone really can’t think of anything, try going to Pinterest, a source of many designs that will give you ideas and groups of color tones that have already been paired to use in arranging the composition of product photography images. And on Pinterest, there will be color values displayed, making it easier to use because we don’t have to sit and compare ourselves to what kind of green tea to use. Just type in the color value and we’ll get the exact correct tea color. Or if you’re not sure which color code to use, another method that will help you get the tea color that’s closest to the real thing is to suck the color from an image that has the tea color that we want.

We have therefore collected examples of popular color tones used in artwork to provide green tea lovers with ideas for easier and more convenient use.

Pass on the deliciousness, increase sales with OEM strategies

In this economic downturn, many stores have closed down. The ones that survived are trying various strategies, such as releasing new products, organizing events, and running promotions to attract more customers back to their stores. However, there is another method that many brands may overlook: accepting production orders for other brands, or what we know as OEM.

OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer, which means that any store or brand that is outstanding in manufacturing products can hire to manufacture products for other companies. It is a collaboration or it may be manufacturing for other brands to sell under the customer’s own brand, depending on the customer’s needs by using the factory or store’s own manufacturing process, from the production department to the various machinery for production. Customers who hire stores or factories may not have enough expertise in making that type of product or see the ability and identity of that factory or store that can produce products according to the specifications.

From the perspective of customers or other brands that hire

  • It is considered to help reduce production costs because production bases can be moved to other places with lower costs.
  • Brand owners do not need to have their own factories, making it easy to change business characteristics or strategies.
  • We have experts and production consultants to take care of you to get the raw materials according to the required standards without having to go through the effort of searching for them yourself from the beginning.

But if you look at it from the perspective of the store or factory that produces the products,

  • There is another way to increase your sales without having to invest in creating your own products from start to finish because you already have a formula from your employer.
  • Save on marketing costs in advertising the product because the manufacturer does not sell the product itself.
  • No need to worry about managing inventory yourself, just follow the orders that other brands hire to produce.

However, accepting OEM work for other brands, in addition to carefully calculating the cost before presenting the selling price to the brand that hires, you also have to consider the price that the brand will sell to consumers. Because if we set a high price from the beginning, the brand owner will have to add more prices before reaching the customer. That product may be overpriced, which can result in poor sales.

In addition, accepting OEM must also calculate the shipping cost. Does the price we set include the shipping cost? And it is necessary to look far into the issue of the product being broken, damaged, or damaged, and all possible losses that may occur. What should be the product claim system and warranty for the products we produce?

If anyone still doesn’t have a picture of which OEM brands they can start accepting, let’s take a look at some sample ideas that are suitable for starting to find customers in this B2B group, such as:

  • A shop that focuses on selling snacks and beverages for health-conscious people in particular. Various recipes are low-sugar, sugar-free menus. We recommend that you produce beverages or snacks for people with food allergies for hospitals or produce health tea drinks for fitness centers. Produce snacks or teas with the brand of the hospital or fitness center.

OEM OEM

  • Shops that are prominent in using premium green tea powder can use this ingredient to produce desserts according to the recipes that various brands want to achieve the original green tea flavor that our factories or shops already use. They can produce a variety of products, such as cookies, puddings, or various green tea spread menus. This variety of dessert production lines is suitable for tour companies, airlines, or hotels, or even Japanese restaurants that do not have dessert menus because they are more specialized in making savory menus. They can also present dessert menus and brand them as the restaurant’s brand.

OEM

OEM OEM

Increasing sales for your store is not just about discounts and free gifts, but also about looking at a wider perspective. Don’t just focus on regular customers, but also on companies, restaurants, or other businesses. You will find many strategies that can be used to deliver deliciousness.
